Capitec is a retail bank in South Africa that aims to simplify banking across personal and business capacities.

The bank currently hosts their credit data on-site and approached Entelect to assist in data modeling and migrating new resources to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.

This included the modernisation of analytics and reporting use cases away from the legacy appliance and into a newly designed data architecture within AWS.

A large part of the project included building reports, redesigning existing excel reports, and migrating them to PowerBI.
