Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (previously eDiamond) provides an online solution for rough diamond sales, through a network of sales offices in Antwerp, Cape Town and Dubai.
Their existing web-based auction platform was deemed poor from a scalability and reliability perspective.
Entelect performed a technical assessment of the platform, and implemented an optimisation and improvement programme.
This included moving the platform to the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, allowing for resources to be ramped up quickly during high-load auctions. Other functional enhancements have also been made to platform to ensure a robust and feature-rich auction platform is presented to Trans Atlantic Gem Sales’ client base.
